I am honored to announce that the pro rodeo commercial for Cinch Jeans I directed has just won a 2016 Telly Award. “The Tellys” showcase today’s best film & video productions, and the 60-second spot titled “Rodeo” was selected from among 13,000 entries.
This spot features champion saddle bronc rider Heith DeMoss competing in Ellensburg, Washington, and delves into the anticipation and nerves that accompany a big rodeo. Heith was incredibly gracious to share his time during an intense day of competition.
For this particular rodeo commercial, it was a joy to work with the talented creative director Ryan Johnson of Defy Them All agency and Jill Gechter of Cinch. Thank you both for raising the bar of our collective work! Below is the director’s cut :60 commercial.
