For our latest hunting campaign for 10x, the Seattle agency 2TWO1 gave me strict orders: This campaign needs to be edgy; dramatic; and bold. Yes, sir!

It was a fun challenge to craft an edgy hunting campaign with the 10X Mossy Oak and Realtree camo clothing — no green screens or studio work, everything shot on location here in my backyard hills. To add mood to the images, we heavily scrimmed the overhead sunlight, used fog machines, and added powerful strobes as cross lights and back lights. We also hired some of the top talent in the business–avid hunters and athletes who got dirty and truly played the part.

One of the highlights of shooting commercial campaigns is when we have the opportunity to get creative and push some limits. This shoot offered plenty of license for creativity. Here’s a peek at some of our favorite images from the shoot, and to see more click here.
